Hawzah News Agency- The Head of Iran’s Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi congratulated the birth of Christ (PBUH) and the beginning of the new year by sending separate messages to more than 80 Christian leaders in different parts of the world.

Head of Iran’s Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi sent congratulatory messages on the occasion of the New Year, to Pope Francis, the leader of the Catholic Church, Patriarch Kirill, the leader of the Russian Orthodox Church, Jerry Pillai, the interim secretary general of the World Council of Churches, Catholicos Ilia II, the leader of the Georgian Orthodox Church, Catholicos Aram I, the leader of Armenians of Antelias Province, Metropolitan Hilarion, head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Russian Church, Hieronymus II, Archbishop of Greece and Bartholomew, Archbishop of Constantinople of the Patriotic Church, Christian leaders of Latin America, as well as Armenian and Assyrian leaders and officials of Iran have been sent.

In these messages, in addition to congratulating the beginning of the new year, the bitter events of last year and the criminal genocide of the people of Gaza were mentioned, and the necessity of supporting the human and national rights of Palestinians and establishing peace in the land of the prophets, occupied Palestine, was emphasized.
